Tracks like "Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy" and "Gone, Gone, Gone" showcase the band's knack for crafting straightforward yet compelling rock songs with a small ensemble feel that keeps the spotlight on each instrument's role. The album balances punchy energy with acoustic textures, making it a versatile listen whether you’re revisiting the late ’70s rock scene or exploring beyond their biggest hits. This vinyl pressing from 1979 offers a genuine snapshot of that era, pressed on standard black vinyl, making it a straightforward choice for those who appreciate period-specific releases. The record is in very good plus condition, presenting glossy surfaces with only minimal, faint marks that are unlikely to affect playback. If you’re arranging your collection by decade or looking to fill a gap in British rock’s late ’70s catalog, this copy of Desolation Angels fits the bill without sending you on a wild goose chase for rarities. Sometimes, the best way to enjoy a rock fantasy is just to keep it simple and let the music do the talking.

Track listing & samples

Bad Company - Desolation Angels

Side A

Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy

Crazy Circles

Gone, Gone, Gone

Evil Wind

Early In The Morning

Side B

Lonely For Your Love

Oh, Atlanta

Take The Time

Rhythm Machine

She Brings Me Love
