Tracks like "Open Up The Door" and "Since You Been Gone" reveal a band exploring subtle textures and focused songwriting rather than arena anthems, making it a distinctive moment in their catalog that rewards attentive ears. This is the kind of record that invites you to lean in, not just turn up the volume. This 1978 pressing presents the album in its original form on vinyl, a format that suits the acoustic nuances well. The record is graded VG++, meaning you can expect a glossy surface with only minor, barely noticeable scuffs that won’t distract from the music. It’s a solid choice for anyone looking to add a clean, vintage Head East record to their collection without fuss. Given the album’s blend of thoughtful tracks and the straightforward pressing, it’s a reminder that sometimes the best doors to open are the ones you didn’t expect to find.

Track listing & samples

Head East - Head East

Side A

Open Up The Door

Man I Wanna Be

Nothimg To Lose

Since You Been Gone

Pictures

Side B

Get Up And Enjoy Yourself

I'm Feelin' Fine

Dace Away Lover

Elijah
