The group’s acoustic small ensemble brings a sincere depth to covers like "A Change Is Gonna Come" and "Climb Every Mountain," wrapping familiar tunes in a warm, unpretentious sound. This 1968 pressing reflects a moment when soul and folk sensibilities mingled quietly, a fitting backdrop for a band that preferred subtlety over spotlight. If you enjoy music that invites you to lean in rather than lean back, this one delivers plenty of thoughtful moments. This vinyl pressing dates from 1968 and comes in a condition consistent with a well-loved record that’s seen regular play—expect some visible wear and a bit of background noise during quieter passages. The sleeve’s not mentioned here, but the record itself should be ready to spin for anyone curious about The Hesitations’ approach to standards like "Summertime" and "The Impossible Dream." It’s a solid choice for collectors who appreciate focused, acoustic sessions and don’t mind a few audible reminders that this record has a history of being enjoyed. After all, not every gem needs to shine like a new penny to catch the ear.

Track listing & samples

The Hesitations - Where We're At!

Side A

The Impossible Dream

Who Will Answer

A Change Is Gonna Come

Somewhere

That's Where It's At

My World

Side B

Climb Every Mountain

Summertime

When The World Is Ready

To Whom May We Turn

The Old Ship Of Zion
