Bright Eyes, the indie rock band from Omaha, Nebraska, was established by Conor Oberst and features a lineup that includes Mike Mogis and Nate Walcott, alongside various collaborators. The band gained widespread recognition with their critically acclaimed album "Lifted or The Story Is in the Soil, Keep Your Ear to the Ground" in 2002, which showcased their unique sound and poignant lyrics. Over the years, they have released a series of albums through Saddle Creek Records until 2011, earning accolades such as Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for "When the President Talks to God" at the 2006 PLUG Independent Music Awards. After a hiatus, Bright Eyes made a comeback in January 2020 by signing with Dead Oceans. Their latest album, "Five Dice, All Threes," was launched in September 2024, marking a new chapter in their evolving musical journey. Known for songs like "First Day of My Life" and "Four Winds," the band also gained attention for their participation in the Vote for Change tour alongside Bruce Springsteen and R.E.M. in 2004, further solidifying their place in the indie rock scene.
