Carol Celeste Parks, born on November 30, 1949, in Pasadena, California, was an accomplished American singer and composer. She began her musical journey as a member of the Jimmy Joyce Children's Choir during her teenage years and later gained recognition as a Hollywood studio singer in the 1970s. Parks contributed her vocal talents as a backing vocalist on several hit songs from that era, including "Desiderata" and "It Never Rains in Southern California." In addition to her work as a performer, she recorded under various aliases such as 'Honey White and the Night Man' and 'Kim Carmichael.' Notably, Parks co-wrote and lent her voice to the score for "Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation." Her life also intertwined with music through her marriage to musician Dean Parks.
