Why it matters
Hookfoot, an English rock band active from 1969 to 1974, was founded by Caleb Quaye along with three session musicians from DJM Records: Ian Duck, Roger Pope, and David Glover. They gained recognition as backing musicians for Elton John, contributing to many of his early recordings.
