Humble Pie

Hard rockblues rockboogie rock
Humble Pie emerged in 1969, driven by the talents of Steve Marriott and Peter Frampton, alongside original members Greg Ridley and Jerry Shirley. The band is recognized as one of the pioneering supergroups of the late 1960s, blending rock with elements of blues and soul. Their debut album, "As Safe as Yesterday Is," marked their entry into the music scene in August 1969. Humble Pie gained significant popularity in the early 1970s, delivering memorable tracks like "30 Days in the Hole" and "I Don't Need No Doctor." Following Frampton's departure in 1971, Clem Clempson joined the lineup, helping to shape the band's evolving sound. Their live album "Performance: Rockin' the Fillmore" achieved gold certification, solidifying their impact in rock history.
