Naked Eyes emerged in 1982, created by vocalist Pete Byrne and keyboardist Rob Fisher. The English new wave band gained prominence in the 1980s, highlighted by their successful cover of “Always Something There to Remind Me,” which became a defining hit for them. Throughout their brief career, they secured four singles in the US top 40, including notable tracks like “Promises, Promises” and “When the Lights Go Out.” After releasing their second album, *Fuel for the Fire*, in 1984, the band disbanded. Years later, in 2005, Byrne reestablished Naked Eyes as a live act, bringing their music back to audiences. Their journey continued with the release of a new album, *Disguise the Limit*, on June 8, 2021. Tragically, Rob Fisher passed away in 1999 after battling cancer, marking a significant loss in the band's history. Despite this, Naked Eyes remains recognized for their contribution to the new wave scene.
