Radiohead emerged from Abingdon, Oxfordshire, in 1985, with members Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O'Brien, and Philip Selway. The band gained significant attention with their debut album, Pablo Honey, released in 1993, featuring the iconic single "Creep." Their third album, OK Computer, which debuted in 1997, is often hailed as a groundbreaking work in rock music, showcasing their innovative sound and lyrical depth. In 2007, Radiohead took a bold step by self-releasing their seventh album, In Rainbows, allowing fans to choose their own price for the digital download. This move highlighted their commitment to artistic independence. Over the years, they have produced numerous acclaimed tracks, including "Karma Police" and "Paranoid Android." Recognized for their contributions to music, Radiohead was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 and, as of 2011, had sold over 30 million albums globally.
