Rage Against The Machine emerged from Los Angeles in 1991, featuring the powerful lineup of Zack de la Rocha on vocals, Tim Commerford on bass, Tom Morello on guitar, and Brad Wilk on drums. The band became known for their distinctive fusion of heavy metal, rap, punk rock, and funk, coupled with provocative anti-authoritarian lyrics. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1992, received widespread acclaim and set the stage for future successes. Subsequent albums like "Evil Empire" and "The Battle of Los Angeles" both reached the top of the Billboard 200 chart. Throughout their career, Rage Against The Machine delivered iconic tracks such as "Killing in the Name" and "Bulls on Parade." The group disbanded in 2000 but reunited in 2007, later going on hiatus in 2011. In 2023, they were honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. A planned world tour in 2019 faced delays and was ultimately shortened due to a leg injury sustained by de la Rocha.
