Ron Wood, born on June 1, 1947, is a distinguished English rock musician celebrated for his work with the Rolling Stones, where he has been a vital member since 1975. His musical journey began in 1964, playing lead guitar in various British rhythm and blues bands. Wood's talents also shone through in bands like Faces and the Jeff Beck Group, showcasing his versatility as an artist. He recorded his first solo album, "I've Got My Own Album to Do," in 1974, which helped cement his status in the rock music scene. Throughout his career, Wood has collaborated with numerous iconic artists, including Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan, and Eric Clapton. His contributions to music were recognized when he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 as part of the Rolling Stones. Notable songs from his career include "Stay With Me," "Ooh La La," and "It's Only Rock'n Roll (But I Like It)." In 2005, he took another step in his career by launching his own record company, Wooden Records, further demonstrating his commitment to the music industry.
