Toshiyuki Morikawa, born on January 26, 1967, is a prominent Japanese voice actor, narrator, and singer recognized for his deep voice and ability to portray imposing characters. He has lent his voice to many beloved roles in anime and video games, most notably as Sephiroth in the Final Fantasy series. In addition to his voice acting career, he founded the voice acting company Axlone in 2011, further establishing his influence in the industry. Morikawa is also known for his musical endeavors, having formed the band '2Hearts' with Fumihiko Tachiki in 2003. One of his notable contributions to music includes performing the ending theme for Dynasty Warriors 4: Empires. Beyond his voice acting work, he serves as the official dub-over artist for several Hollywood stars, including Ewan McGregor and Tom Cruise, showcasing his versatility and talent in both the anime and film industries.
