As the founder and frontman of the Miracles, he played a crucial role in shaping the Motown sound. Robinson not only showcased his vocal talents but also served as the chief songwriter and producer for the group, crafting timeless hits like "The Tears of a Clown" and "Shop Around." His contributions to music were recognized when he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, and later, he received the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize in 2016 for his impact on popular music. In addition to his musical achievements, Robinson is a double inductee on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and left Motown Records in 1999, marking the end of an era in his illustrious career.
