The Jeff Beck Group emerged from London in January 1967, spearheaded by guitarist Jeff Beck. Known for their groundbreaking blend of heavy blues and rock, the band featured a dynamic lineup that included iconic figures like Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood, though they frequently changed bass players and drummers. Their single "Hi Ho Silver Lining" became a hit, reaching No. 14 on the UK singles chart, while their debut album "Truth," released in 1968, made an impact on the U.S. charts, peaking at No. 15. In 1969, they followed up with "Beck-Ola," which also reached No. 15 on the Billboard 200. The group disbanded in July 1972 after putting out their self-titled album but had previously reformed in April 1970 with new members, including vocalist Alex Ligertwood and drummer Cozy Powell. Their innovative sound and memorable tracks like "Beck's Bolero" and "Definitely Maybe" have left a lasting mark on the rock genre.
