The Yardbirds emerged from London in 1963 and became a significant force in blues rock, launching the careers of iconic guitarists like Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page. Known for their innovative sound, they played a crucial role in the development of psychedelic rock and early hard rock. The band enjoyed considerable success in the mid-1960s with hits such as "For Your Love," "Heart Full of Soul," and "Shapes of Things." Their contributions to music were recognized with an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992, and they earned a spot on Rolling Stone's list of the '100 Greatest Artists of All Time' at No. 89.
