Ben E. King- Stand By Me-LP

Ben E. King – Stand By Me

Stand By Me connects Ben E. King’s pop-soul ballad side with a title that picked up major cultural weight through Rob Reiner’s 1986 coming-of-age film. Based on Stephen King’s The Body, the film follows four boys in 1959 Oregon, giving the title a lasting association with memory, friendship, and coming-of-age storytelling. For a Ben E. King record, that crossover appeal matters: it reaches soul listeners, pop buyers, and film-minded collectors in a very natural way. This copy is a vintage 1980 Japan import vinyl pressing, priced at $30. The record is graded NM, with vinyl that looks almost untouched: glossy, clean, and with no visible lines, scuffs, or sleeve marks noted. The main appeal here is the Japan-import format paired with especially clean vinyl condition.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
