French Kiss marks Bob Welch’s step beyond his Fleetwood Mac days, offering a collection that leans into intimate, acoustic arrangements with a focused listening approach. The album blends smooth melodies reminiscent of Bread’s soft rock sensibility and the brass-tinged textures that might remind you of Blood Sweat and Tears, particularly in tracks like "Sentimental Lady" and "Ebony Eyes." This 1977 pressing holds its own as a compelling snapshot of Welch’s solo artistry, balancing songwriting craft with a warm, small ensemble sound that invites attentive play. This vinyl pressing from 1977 presents the album in solid VG++ condition, meaning it’s glossy and very clean with only minor surface marks that won’t interrupt your enjoyment. The 12-inch format carries the album’s acoustic intimacy well, making it a choice pick for those who appreciate a well-kept record that’s ready to slide smoothly into your collection. You might say this is a record that doesn’t just whisper its secrets but shares them with a wink—perfect for listeners who like to lean in rather than blast out.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
