Boris Karloff Narrates The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow / Rip Van Winkle offers a focused listening experience rooted in intimate acoustic storytelling. Karloff’s distinctive voice brings a theatrical touch to these classic tales, making them feel less like bedtime stories and more like invitations to a shadowy parlor where every word counts. The album stands apart as a curious blend of narrative art and subtle musical accompaniment, perfect for those who appreciate a more contemplative approach to spoken word and atmospheric texture. This 1977 pressing comes on vinyl in very good plus condition, suitable for regular enjoyment with only minor surface wear that won’t distract from the listening experience. It’s a neat piece for anyone intrigued by the intersection of literature and audio performance, especially collected on a format that invites you to slow down and savor the nuances. If your shelf has a corner for storytelling that’s less campfire and more classic radio drama, this record fits right in without needing to shout.
