Chicago IX Chicago's Greatest Hits gathers the band's most memorable tracks into a single collection that reflects their blend of rock and soft rock with intricate horn arrangements. Featuring songs like "Saturday In The Park," "Make Me Smile," and "Colour My World," the album showcases Chicago's knack for combining catchy melodies with sophisticated musicianship. Produced by James William Guercio and mixed by Phil Ramone, this compilation also benefits from the engineering talents of Chris Hinshaw and others, ensuring the sound quality highlights the band’s layered instrumentation and vocal harmonies. The artwork by John Berg and Reid Miles adds an elegant visual touch that complements the music’s polished vibe. This 1975 vinyl pressing offers a solid listen for anyone interested in Chicago’s peak era. The record presents with a glossy finish and only minor surface marks typical for its age, fitting comfortably in collections that appreciate focused listening sessions. While it’s not a fresh-from-the-pressing plant copy, its VG++ condition means you can expect clean playback with minimal distractions. If you’ve ever found yourself wondering "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" this album provides an answer in both title and timeless tunes.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
