Chicago – Chicago Transit Authority

Chicago Transit Authority is the debut studio album by the American rock band Chicago, originally released in 1969 on Columbia Records. Produced by James William Guercio, the album blends jazz rock, progressive rock, and blues rock, showcasing the band's early fusion of horns and rock instrumentation. Notably, this is the only album released under the band's original name, Chicago Transit Authority. Tracks like "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" highlight the group's distinctive sound that helped define the jazz-rock genre. This vintage reissue vinyl features both records graded VG+, indicating minor hairline marks and some wear but overall good playability with light background noise.
