Greatest Hits by Diana Ross And The Supremes gathers some of Motown’s most defining moments, featuring songwriting from the legendary Holland-Dozier-Holland team. Tracks like "Stop! In The Name Of Love" and "You Can’t Hurry Love" helped shape the sound of 1960s soul and pop, blending irresistible melodies with Diana Ross’s distinctive voice leading a trio that became synonymous with polished vocal harmony and tight arrangements. The album’s liner notes by Carol Channing and cover painting by Robert Taylor add a touch of theatrical flair, reflecting the group’s crossover appeal beyond just music charts. This 1967 pressing delivers those classic songs with the kind of clarity that reminds you why Motown’s Hitsville USA Studios were a hit-making factory. The vinyl here is graded VG+, meaning it’s ready for regular play with only minor surface lines and light scuffs that won’t overshadow the grooves. It’s a pressing that suits anyone looking to revisit the Supremes’ peak era without fuss, and since the catalog number is MS 2-663, collectors will note it’s a vintage Motown release. After all, it’s not every day you find a collection where the music’s as smooth as the label’s signature.
