Dinosaur Jr’s self-titled album points back to the Amherst, Massachusetts band J Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph formed in 1984. That original trio is a big part of the group’s story: before later lineup changes and side projects, their independent-label run helped build Dinosaur Jr’s reputation as a formative influence on American alternative rock. For listeners digging into indie rock’s noisier guitar-driven roots, this is a meaningful title to have on the shelf. This copy is a new vinyl pressing priced at $28.00 and still sealed in its original shrink wrap. With the record SEALED, it has not been opened or graded as a used copy, making this a clean choice for someone who wants a fresh pressing rather than a handled vintage copy.
