Eric Clapton’s August offers a thoughtful blend of acoustic intimacy and focused songwriting, presenting a mature side of his artistry that resonates beyond his blues-rock roots. Tracks like "It's In The Way That You Use It" and "Holy Mother" showcase a nuanced approach, balancing heartfelt lyrics with a restrained, small ensemble setting that invites attentive listening. The album reflects Clapton’s ability to channel personal experiences into music that feels both reflective and accessible, making it a compelling listen for those interested in his more understated work. This reissue from Record Service Alsdorf presents August on vinyl with a pressing that’s clearly aimed at listeners who appreciate clarity and presence without any fuss. The vinyl itself is in very clean condition, showing only minimal signs of use such as light scuffs or faint lines, so it should play smoothly without distracting surface noise. If your collection includes Clapton’s more electric excursions, this pressing serves as a quieter companion, proving that sometimes the most powerful moments come when the volume dial is turned down.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
