Gordon Lightfoot- Early Lightfoot-LP

Gordon Lightfoot – Early Lightfoot

Early Lightfoot catches Gordon Lightfoot in his early folk years, with the emphasis on his songwriting and direct acoustic performance style. The track list includes “For Lovin’ Me,” “The Way I Feel,” and “Long River,” all useful touchstones for hearing the roots of the Lightfoot catalog before his wider 1970s recognition. It was issued on AME Records in Canada, a label closely tied to Canadian artists during that era, which gives this copy some nice home-country context. This is a 1971 Canada import vinyl pressing priced at $22. The record is graded VG++, a strong used-vinyl grade that generally points to glossy, very clean vinyl with only very small light marks, sleeve scuffs, or faint lines expected. A good pick if you want early Gordon Lightfoot material on a clean vintage Canadian pressing.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
