Collectors' Item by Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes gathers some of the Philadelphia soul group's most resonant tracks, including "If You Don't Know Me By Now" and "Wake Up Everybody." This compilation highlights the smooth yet stirring vocals that defined the band's sound in the '70s, offering a focused listening experience that blends heartfelt emotion with polished arrangements. The acoustic ensemble backing lends an intimate touch, making songs like "The Love I Lost" and "Hope That We Can Be Together Soon" feel immediate and personal rather than just polished hits. This 1976 pressing brings those timeless moments to vinyl in a format that suits anyone looking to add a slice of Philly soul to their collection without fuss. The record is graded VG++, so you can expect a glossy surface with only minor, light scuffs typical of gentle use—nothing that should distract from the music. For a band whose vocal harmonies are often the star attraction, having a clean pressing is key, and this copy fits the bill. If you're arranging your soul shelf, this one won't be shy about taking its place near the heart of the set.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
