John Cougar- Small Paradise-12" SINGLE

John Cougar – Small Paradise - 12" SINGLE

John Cougar’s Small Paradise 12-inch single catches Mellencamp in his early John Cougar era, before the name change became part of the story. The cut connects directly to his 1979 John Cougar album and shows the rock and pop-rock side of his writing, with the raw vocal delivery and emotive songwriting that would become a bigger part of his appeal. As a promo single, this copy has a nice period-specific purpose: it was made to get the track in front of radio and industry ears. This is a 1979 vintage vinyl promo pressing priced at $10, making it an affordable John Cougar piece with more character than a standard album copy. The record is graded VG+, a solid everyday grade where a few light lines, sleeve marks, or small scuffs may be present, but not wear that should dominate the music. For someone building out early Mellencamp-related vinyl, the promo 12-inch format is the reason to notice this one. Small Paradise - 12" SINGLE.
