John Denver And The Muppets' A Christmas Together brings a gentle, acoustic approach to holiday music, inviting focused listening with a modest ensemble that complements Denver’s warm vocals. The album blends familiar carols like "Silent Night, Holy Night" and "Deck The Halls" with original moments such as "A Baby Just Like You," offering a cozy seasonal soundtrack that fits neatly alongside other thoughtful Christmas collections. The collaboration adds a playful yet sincere layer without overwhelming the intimate feel, making it a unique entry in Denver’s catalog and holiday music shelves alike. This 1979 vinyl pressing holds up as a solid choice for those who appreciate a clear and straightforward presentation of this festive set. The record is graded VG+, meaning it shows signs of light surface marks and minor paper scuffs that won’t dominate the listening experience but do suggest some past spins. While not flawless, it’s a dependable companion for holiday gatherings or quiet winter evenings. It’s the kind of album that proves even a Muppet can teach a song or two about holiday spirit—without needing to borrow Santa’s sleigh.
