Louis Armstrong – Hello Dolly

Louis Armstrong’s Hello Dolly turned a Broadway tune into one of his great late-career moments, with “Hello, Dolly!” giving him room for a full thirty-two-bar trumpet solo. Released by Kapp Records in 1964, the album became Armstrong’s most commercially successful LP, topping the Billboard Top LPs chart while keeping his All-Stars’ dixieland and swing style in front of a broad pop audience. The set also includes familiar Armstrong fare like “A Kiss To Build A Dream On,” “It’s Been A Long, Long Time,” and “Hey Look Me Over,” making it an easy entry point into his warm, crowd-pleasing side. This is a 1964 mono vinyl pressing priced at $12. At under $15, it’s an affordable Louis Armstrong copy with vintage-era appeal. The record is graded VG+, a solid everyday grade where a few light lines, sleeve marks, or small scuffs may be present, but not wear that should dominate the music.
