Louis Armstrong- Town Hall Concert Plus-LP

Louis Armstrong – Town Hall Concert Plus

Louis Armstrong was already a foundational jazz figure by the time this 1957 mono pressing of Town Hall Concert Plus came along. His 1920s work as an inventive trumpet and cornet player helped shift jazz toward solo expression, while his gravelly voice and scat singing made him one of the music’s most recognizable performers. That broader Armstrong story gives this Dixieland jazz record real weight, especially for anyone building out a vintage jazz shelf beyond the usual studio staples. This is a mono vinyl pressing priced at $12.00, making it an affordable Louis Armstrong copy with period appeal. The record is graded VG+, so expect a few light lines, sleeve marks, or small scuffs, but not wear that should dominate the music. For the price, the 1957 mono format and solid playable grade are the reasons this copy makes sense.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
