Michael Jackson’s Thriller stands as a defining moment in pop history, blending funk, soul, and contemporary R&B with impeccable production and memorable songwriting. Tracks like "Billie Jean" and "Thriller" showcase his ability to fuse infectious grooves with cinematic flair, a quality heightened by contributions from arrangers like Rod Temperton and Steve Lukather, and the precise mixing of Bruce Swedien. The album’s artwork, created by Lane/Donald and Dick Zimmerman, complements its bold, genre-crossing sound, making it a visual as well as auditory landmark. This 1982 vinyl pressing offers a chance to experience Thriller in a format that recalls its original era, with the record itself in very good plus condition, meaning the grooves are glossy and clean with only minor surface marks unlikely to affect play. It’s a solid pick for anyone wanting a well-preserved copy from the album’s early lifecycle, especially since the pressing year matches closely with the recording period. Just as Michael Jackson choreographed his music to perfection, this vinyl delivers a polished presentation that fits neatly into the collection without any need for a moonwalk to find it.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
