Michael Jackson’s Thriller stands as a defining moment in pop music, blending funk, soul, and rock with a polished contemporary R&B sheen. The album features collaborations with noted arrangers like James Ingram and Rod Temperton, whose touch is evident on tracks such as "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" and "The Girl Is Mine." With synthesizer contributions from Greg Phillinganes and a mix by Bruce Swedien, Thriller delivers a layered sound that helped shape the 1980s musical landscape. The iconic cover art by Lane/Donald and Dick Zimmerman adds a visual signature that’s as recognizable as the grooves themselves. This 1982 vinyl pressing offers a chance to experience "Thriller" in a format that suits focused listening sessions. The record shows visible signs of wear consistent with a VG grade, so expect some background noise and light surface marks, though it remains fully playable. For anyone curious about hearing Michael Jackson’s rhythm and synthesizer work alongside top-tier musicianship, this pressing presents a solid snapshot of the album’s original era. If you’re arranging your collection, consider this a track-worthy entry that’s more than just a "Thriller" on the shelf—it’s a reminder that even pop perfection requires a bit of patience spinning through the grooves.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
