Neil Diamond’s 12 Greatest Hits, Vol. II gathers a compelling selection of his later work, including "Beautiful Noise," "Forever In Blue Jeans," and "Love On The Rocks." This 1985 compilation offers a focused listening experience with its acoustic ensemble arrangements that highlight Diamond’s storytelling and melodic craft. Tracks like "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" and "September Morn" showcase his ability to blend pop sensibility with a singer-songwriter intimacy, making this collection a nuanced portrait of his evolving sound beyond the initial wave of his career. This 1982 pressing on vinyl stands as a solid representation of the era’s production values and is graded VG+, indicating it’s well-suited for regular play with only minor surface marks unlikely to interfere with enjoyment. The 12-inch format provides ample space for the recordings to breathe, and the compilation’s thoughtful sequencing makes it a neat fit for those interested in exploring Diamond’s later hits without diving into full studio albums. If you’re arranging your collection by narrative rather than chronology, this one slots in like a well-placed verse in a familiar song.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
