Neil Young – Comes A Time

Comes A Time is Neil Young’s ninth studio album, issued by Reprise in October 1978, and it finds him working largely in a quiet folk-and-country style. Its connection to Harvest is a big part of the appeal: several accompanying musicians came from that earlier commercial peak, and many of the songs again draw on relationship themes. Nicolette Larson’s backing harmonies are also central to the album’s identity, adding an important vocal presence across the record. Produced by Young with David Briggs, Ben Keith, and Tim Mulligan, Comes A Time is a warmer, more acoustic-leaning entry in his late-1970s catalog, with songs such as “Goin’ Back,” “Comes a Time,” “Look Out for My Love,” and “Lotta Love” anchoring the set. This is a 1978 Neil Young vinyl repress of Comes A Time. The vinyl record is graded VG++, meaning it is a glossy, very clean copy with only one or two very small light marks, sleeve scuffs, or faint lines expected.
