Otis Redding’s In Person At The Whisky A Go Go offers a raw snapshot of his live energy, blending the intimacy of a small acoustic lineup with his signature soulful grit. Tracks like "Mr. Pitiful" and "These Arms Of Mine" reveal why Redding’s voice carried both tenderness and urgency, while his take on "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag" nods playfully to the funkier side of the era’s sound. It’s a set that invites focused listening, capturing a moment when soul music was as much about heartfelt storytelling as it was about commanding presence. This 1968 vinyl pressing carries the weight of that live room atmosphere on a solid, playable copy graded VG—expect some surface noise and visible wear that won’t keep you from settling in for the set. It’s the kind of record that reminds you live albums aren’t always about polish, but about the electricity between artist and audience. Whether you’re drawn by the mix of classics or the chance to hear Redding in a more stripped-down setting, this pressing provides a direct line to his mid-60s stage charisma.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
