Mozambique by Pello El Afrokan Y Su Ritmo Mozambique dives deep into the rich blend of Afro-Cuban rhythms and melodies, presenting an intimate acoustic ensemble that invites focused listening. The album reflects the complex cultural fusion of Cuba, where African and Spanish musical traditions intertwine, evident in tracks like "María Caracoles" and "Mozambique En Carnaval." Its exploration of the Mozambique rhythm, a dance style rooted in Cuban carnival culture, offers a compelling snapshot of this vibrant musical heritage, even as the native origins of these sounds have largely vanished over centuries. This vinyl pressing provides a solid opportunity to experience the album’s nuanced interplay, though its VG condition suggests some wear that might introduce occasional background noise during play. The exact pressing details remain unknown, but the record’s state is consistent with a well-loved copy that’s ready to spin. Whether you’re drawn to the layered percussion or the melodic passages in "Corta Y Clava," this edition holds enough clarity for engaged listening without demanding pristine sound quality. It’s a record that sits comfortably in a collection focused on the intersections of culture and rhythm, proving that even with some surface scuffs, the groove remains intact.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
