Queen’s A Night At The Opera stands as a landmark of 1970s rock ambition, blending theatrical flair with complex arrangements that stretch from the operatic heights of "Bohemian Rhapsody" to the tender reflection of "Love Of My Life." The album’s artwork, crafted by David Costa with additional touches by Kris Fredriksson, mirrors the eclectic and grand vision Queen pursued alongside producers Roy Thomas Baker and the band themselves. This record invites focused listening, with its intricate layering and an acoustic ensemble feel that contrasts sharply with the hard rock energy found throughout tracks like "I'm In Love With My Car" and "Death On Two Legs." This 1975 vinyl pressing brings that classic mix into your collection with a condition rated VG, meaning it plays through with some audible wear and light background noise but remains fully enjoyable. The pressing is a snapshot of the era, engineered by Gary Lyons and Mike Stone, with the band members themselves contributing handclaps and tambourine, adding a personal touch to the sound. If you’re lining up your Queen records, this one might not be the quietest in the queue, but it’s certainly ready to play ball.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
