Quincy Jones’ 1978 album Sounds… And Stuff Like That!! blends smooth grooves with sophisticated arrangements, reflecting his masterful touch as a composer and producer. The record includes tracks like "Stuff Like That" and "Tell Me A Bedtime Story," showcasing a refined acoustic ensemble setting that invites focused listening rather than background noise. Its blend of jazz, soul, and funk elements offers a snapshot of Jones’ expansive musical world, sitting comfortably alongside the work of contemporaries like Herbie Hancock and John Coltrane, without needing to shout over them. This vintage pressing from 1978 brings that era’s analog warmth to your collection, presented on vinyl with a condition rated VG+, meaning it carries the typical light surface marks and paper scuffs of regular play but nothing that should interfere significantly with the listening experience. It’s a solid everyday player for those who appreciate the nuances of Quincy Jones’ arrangements and the subtle interplay of a compact ensemble. If you’re curating a shelf where focused listening trumps background chatter, this one knows how to speak quietly but clearly.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
