Rare Earth – One World

Rare Earth’s One World gave the band one of its biggest crossover moments with “I Just Want To Celebrate,” a Top 10 Gold-certified hit from the 1971 album. It also shows their range with a cover of Ray Charles’ “What’d I Say,” putting classic R&B material into the group’s rock and funk-soul orbit. Rare Earth produced the album with Tom Baird, giving it a band-driven feel that fits their early Motown-affiliated run. This is a 1971 vinyl pressing priced at $18.00, a nice same-year copy for anyone after the album’s original-era presentation. The record is graded VG++, meaning glossy, very clean vinyl with only very small light marks, sleeve scuffs, or faint lines expected, and no major condition concerns implied. Strong grade, vintage year, and a key Rare Earth hit make this a very appealing copy.
