Slade- Stomp Your Hands Clap Your Feet-LP

Stomp Your Hands Clap Your Feet presents Slade’s 1974 U.S. release of their UK chart-topping album Old New Borrowed and Blue, trimmed down by dropping “My Town” and “My Friend Stan.” The record captures Slade’s knack for blending rock energy with melodic turns, especially evident in “Everyday,” where a piano-led arrangement offers a gentler contrast to their usual sound. “Good Time Gals” adds a touch of their classic foot-stomping spirit, even if it didn’t catch on in the States as a single. It’s a snapshot of Slade stretching beyond their glam rock roots while still keeping the party going. This 1974 pressing offers a solid slice of Slade’s mid-’70s output on vinyl, with a glossy surface showing only minor, faint paper scuffs typical for its age. The VG++ condition means you can expect clean playback without distracting noise, suitable for anyone wanting to explore this phase of the band’s catalog. If you’ve ever wondered where to tuck a Slade album that’s neither the full UK tracklist nor a greatest hits, this one might just stomp its way onto the shelf with a clap of approval.
