Stevie Wonder’s Greatest Hits from 1968 offers a compelling snapshot of his early Motown era, blending soulful vocals with vibrant funk rhythms. Tracks like "Uptight," "I Was Made To Love Her," and "Blowin' In The Wind" highlight his ability to fuse pop accessibility with thoughtful songwriting, while "Fingertips Part 2" captures the youthful energy that made him a standout performer. This collection serves as a concise introduction to Wonder’s formative years, showcasing the acoustic ensemble arrangements that support his expressive voice and harmonica work without ever overcrowding the mix—a neat trick that keeps the spotlight exactly where it belongs. This pressing from 1968, produced by Superior Record Pressing Corp. in Somerdale, NJ, carries the Tamla catalog number TS-282 and features lacquer cut marks that confirm its vintage pedigree. The vinyl is graded VG+, indicating it has seen some life with minor surface marks and scuffs, typical for a record of this age, but nothing that should overshadow the music. For those interested in the roots of Stevie Wonder’s expansive catalog, this is a solid, focused listening piece. After all, not every greatest hits needs to be a greatest mystery on your turntable.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
