The Bangles- Different Light-LP

The Bangles – Different Light

The Bangles’ Different Light is the band’s second studio album, released in 1986 by Columbia Records after recording with producer David Kahne in 1985. It moved the group from their earlier 1960s-flavored rock and roll approach toward a more polished Top 40 pop rock sound, while still keeping their vocal harmonies central. The album produced five charting singles, giving it a major place in the Bangles’ breakthrough era. Bassist Michael Steele also took lead vocals on several tracks here, marking her first lead vocal performances with the band. Musically, the record pairs guitars with synthesizers for a glossier mid-’80s pop-rock finish. This 1986 vinyl pressing is graded VG++, with glossy vinyl that looks fantastic overall and only one or two very small light marks, sleeve scuffs, or faint lines expected.
