Strangeways Here We Come, the Smiths’ final studio album, presents a thoughtful collection of songs that invite focused listening. The acoustic ensemble here softens the band’s usual edge, giving tracks like “Girlfriend In A Coma” and “I Started Something I Couldn’t Finish” a more intimate, reflective tone. This album stands apart in their catalog by balancing melancholic moods with melodic clarity, making it a compelling listen for anyone drawn to nuanced songwriting rather than outright anthems. It’s a record that rewards patience, much like finding that quiet corner in a lively shop where you can actually hear yourself think. This 2018 vinyl pressing comes sealed, offering pristine condition for collectors and newcomers alike. Whether you’re revisiting the Smiths’ closing chapter or discovering it fresh, this pressing holds a clean presentation that reflects the album’s contemplative spirit without distraction.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
