The Best Of The Stylistics gathers a selection of smooth, soulful tracks that helped define the group's signature sound from their peak years. Songs like "You Make Me Feel Brand New" and "Betcha By Golly, Wow" showcase Russell Thompkins, Jr.'s distinctive falsetto and the band's elegant arrangements, making this compilation a gentle dive into their blend of romance and rhythm. Though released in 1996, this 1984 pressing of the collection offers a vinyl snapshot from an earlier era, which adds a bit of vintage charm without asking you to decode the grooves like a vinyl archaeologist. This vinyl comes in a solid VG+ condition, meaning it carries typical signs of use—light surface marks and minor scuffs—that shouldn’t overshadow the music’s clarity or enjoyment. It’s a straightforward selection for anyone wanting to explore the Stylistics’ catalog through a focused listening experience, especially with the acoustic ensemble feel that makes their sound intimate yet polished. If your turntable shelves could use a little soul that’s smooth but never slick, this pressing fits the bill without fuss.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
