Tim Weisberg – Live at Last!

Live at Last! finds Tim Weisberg in the polished jazz-fusion space that made his flute-led records stand apart from a lot of mid-’70s instrumental LPs. Released in 1976, it was his fifth studio album, blending fusion and smooth jazz while keeping Weisberg’s flute and saxophone work at the center. Bob Alcivar produced the album, a nice connection for listeners who know his work with The Carpenters and Herb Alpert, and the record reached the Billboard albums chart that same year. This vintage 1976 vinyl pressing is priced at $10, so it’s an affordable Tim Weisberg copy with good period appeal. The record is graded VG+, a strong everyday grade where a few light lines, sleeve marks, or small scuffs can be expected, but not wear that should dominate the music. For someone curious about Weisberg beyond the later Dan Fogelberg collaboration, this is a friendly, well-priced way into his solo fusion catalog.
