UFO- Lights Out-LP

UFO – Lights Out

UFO’s Lights Out arrived in 1977 as the band’s sixth studio album and became their highest-charting U.S. release, reaching No. 23 on the Billboard 200. Produced by Ron Nevison, whose résumé includes work with Led Zeppelin and Thin Lizzy, the album was recorded at AIR Studios in London in January 1977. Compared with earlier UFO records, Lights Out pushed into more elaborate hard rock arrangements, using lush strings and more complex song structures alongside the band’s heavier side. The Hipgnosis cover image, shot in the old turbine room of Battersea Power Station, gives this vintage UFO vinyl LP extra ’70s rock-art appeal. This 1977 vinyl pressing is graded VG++, with glossy vinyl that looks fantastic overall and only one or two very small light marks, sleeve scuffs, or faint lines expected. It’s a sharp vinyl record choice for anyone looking for Lights Out with strong condition appeal and real late-’70s hard rock weight.
