Wilson Pickett – A Funky Situation

A Funky Situation puts Wilson Pickett in a funk/soul and disco setting, giving this record a clear late-’70s feel without needing to overstate the backstory. The track list leans into dance-floor language right from titles like “Dance with Me,” “Dance You Down,” and “Groovin’,” which helps explain the appeal for anyone interested in Pickett outside his best-known soul era. This is a 1978 vinyl pressing priced at $14.00, making it an affordable Wilson Pickett copy with vintage appeal. The record is graded VG++, a very clean used-vinyl grade with glossy surfaces expected and only very small light marks, sleeve scuffs, or faint lines in the range. Strong condition at this price is the copy-specific reason to give this one a close look.
