His influential album "It's Just Begun," released in 1972, showcased his unique style and included several popular tracks that resonated with audiences. Other notable songs from his repertoire include "The Bertha Butt Boogie" and "Hey Leroy, Your Mama's Callin' You." Castor's contributions to music left a lasting impact until his passing on January 16, 2012, due to heart failure.
