Progressive rockart rock
UK emerged as a notable British progressive rock supergroup in the late 1970s, featuring prominent musicians such as bass guitarist John Wetton and drummer Bill Bruford. The band's lineup also included violinist and keyboardist Eddie Jobson, along with guitarist Allan Holdsworth. They debuted with their self-titled album in 1978, followed by their second album, "Danger Money," released in March 1979. Notable tracks like "Nothing to Lose" and "When Will You Realize" exemplify their unique sound. Despite their promising start, UK disbanded in 1980 due to creative differences between Wetton and Jobson. However, they made a comeback in 2012, embarking on a world tour that reintroduced their music to fans old and new.
