Alirio Díaz’s Masterpieces Of The Spanish Guitar invites listeners into an intimate acoustic setting where the guitar’s expressive range speaks volumes. This 1970 pressing showcases works like "Granada" and "Torre Bermeja," pieces that highlight the lyrical and rhythmic nuances of Spanish guitar tradition without the need for a full orchestra. The album’s focused listening approach makes it a perfect choice for anyone wanting to delve deeply into classical guitar’s subtleties, with a program that balances technical finesse and heartfelt interpretation. It’s like eavesdropping on a private recital, minus the risk of being shushed. This vinyl pressing offers a clear window into Díaz’s artistry, presented here on a single LP with a glossy surface that shows only minor, superficial scuffs typical for its age. The VG++ condition means you can expect very clean playback with just the faintest light marks, nothing that should distract from the music’s delicate textures. For those who appreciate the guitar’s quieter voices, this record fits nicely on a shelf where the subtlety of sound matters as much as the performance itself.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
