So Red The Rose stands as Arcadia’s singular studio statement, a side project from key Duran Duran members Nick Rhodes, Roger Taylor, and Simon Le Bon that leans into atmospheric synth-pop and art rock with a cinematic flair. This 1985 vinyl pressing offers a clean listening experience on glossy vinyl with only minor, light surface marks that shouldn’t affect playback. Cut by Bob Ludwig, the mastering reflects the era’s attention to sonic detail without veering into the over-polished territory. For collectors or fans of Duran Duran’s extended universe, this record slots neatly into a collection that appreciates synth-driven art rock with a touch of theatricality—proof that side projects can sometimes dress just as sharply as the main event.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
